Meet Bill
Bill earned a BA in Mathematics and a BA in Physics from Drew University. He then achieved a Masters of Science in Physics and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Binghamton University. He early passions for education led him to teaching in public high school, college and private organizations. Hs research has been published in international journals of Physics.
He currently works full time as a software product manager and has served as Chief Information Officer for a $3.5 billion food distribution company. He has managed large budgets and teams, successfully coordinating efforts worldwide.
Locally, Bill has volunteered for several local organizations, is a founding committee member of the Greenwood Counts Community Consortium, a member of the Racial Justice League, the Special Tax Commissioner for his HOA, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and has been Chair of the Greenwood County Democratic Party since 2020. He is co-host of the locally produced podcast, Black White & Blue in the South.
He is an avid reader of history, science and one of South Carolina’s biggest fan of Stephen King.
